The Study Group is a
long established church activity.
- What Do We Do? -
The group holds six
or seven fortnightly meetings early in the year and again in the autumn. At
the start of each session we agree on the topics we intend to examine in the
weeks ahead. We then decide who is to do the background research to
introduce the subjects to the whole group. The issues we tend to
consider centre on religion in society, in the widest sense, and this often
results in sharply divergent views. We are happy to have our opinions
leavened by outside speakers from time to time and lively discussion is
encouraged.
- How Do I Join? -
New members are always
welcome. Dates of meetings are announced in advance of
each session and can be obtained by
contacting us
at the church office.
