ABOUT
We are a welcoming, inclusive and informal church at the foot of the Pentlands.
ABOUT US
We gather for worship on Sundays at 10:30 am, so if you’d like to join us please come along any time between 10:20 am and 10:30 am. Come in and sit where you would like. If you’re coming with children, (and we have many children every Sunday), you may wish to sit near the front where there are brightly coloured chairs for the younger children.
Our young people go out after the first 15 minutes, which is specifically for them at the beginning of the service. After worship, we meet for tea and coffee, juice and biscuits in one of our halls. You’ll be most welcome if you decide to join us one Sunday. It would be lovely to meet you, whether you’ve been to church regularly or would like to come for the first time ever.
We also have different services and events during the week and you can find them on our What's On page.
OUR MINISTER
Cheryl was inducted as our minister on the 15th of February 2018. Her vision for Ministry here at the Crossroads is one of welcome to everyone, no matter where they are on their faith journey. Cheryl is aware that the image that many people hold of church nowadays, is, perhaps an inaccurate one.
Her vision for us has been to create a space for all ages to come together and spend time together as a Church Family, not just on a Sunday, to explore together the questions we all seek to find answers to as we journey through life. These questions, while celebrating faith, also allow us to share our doubts and offer us the strength that we need to go out into the lives we lead day after day, able to make more sense of our individual journeys.
OUR TEAM
CHURCH GROUPS
Our Kirk Session is responsible for all our activities, both spiritual and social. This is achieved through the work of several committees. If you would like to be involved in any of these committees, we’re always keen to hear from new members so please click on each committee to read more of their work and be in touch.
