Room Hire
Fairmilehead Parish Church, Edinburgh is less than 4 miles south of the city centre and a short distance from the City Bypass (Lothianburn junction). The Church offers four halls for external hire. The halls vary in size and features and are backed up with a kitchen, toilets, less-abled toilet and disabled access.
Caerketton Chapel
Caerketton Chapel seats 40. This hall is used primarily during the week by the church - Prayers, short services and A Time of Stillness and for members and visitors to use for private prayer.
Frogston Hall
Frogston Hall seats 150, has a wooden floor, low ceiling and a partition (if required) to allow the room to be sub-divided into two. It is used by baby and toddler groups, fitness classes, community groups and the Pop Up Cafe. It has access to the kitchen.
Buckstone Hall
Buckstone Hall seats 180, has a wooden floor, a small stage if required and a large serving hatch to the kitchen. It is ideal for fitness and exercise classes, it is marked out for use by the Badminton Club. It is also used by the Uniformed Organisations.
Caiystane Hall
Caiystane Hall can seat 60 and is used for larger meetings, the Uniformed Organisations, dance classes, support and community groups.
Swanston Hall
Swanston Hall is currently not available for lets.
Meeting Rooms
We have two small meeting rooms available for hire called 'West Kip' and 'Wee Winton'
The remainder of the church-centre complex comprises an office, foyer, the church sanctuary, ladies, gents & disabled toilets - also suitable for baby changes and a modern kitchen.
There's a suitable hall for all occasions and the hire of two or more halls simultaneously provides additional flexibility for larger groups for staff training, conferences and other similar purposes.
Hall Users
Past and current users of the halls have come from a variety of backgrounds including: finance, commerce, community and funeral services. We are also proud to host and support small local businesses organising sporting, fitness and social activities from Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Recent hirers of the halls for “one-off” events have included local employers for staff training purposes, martial arts classes, charities for fundraising events and individuals for talks and lectures.

Please note we do not offer weekend hall lets.

Please note that the Church Centre will be closed for the first two weeks of July every year.
